Her research focuses on understanding the impacts of climate change on people and the planet. Recognized among the TIME100 most influential people and a United Nations Champion of the Earth\, Hayhoe is known worldwide for connecting climate to people’s values in ways that inspire action. Her TED lecture\, The Most Important Thing You Can Do About Climate Change: Talk About It\, has received over 4 million views\, and she is the author of Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World. Read more. \n\nMegan Mullin is the faculty director of the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation. She also holds the Luskin Endowed Chair in Innovation and Sustainability as Professor of Public Policy\, within in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.Mullin is a political scientist focused on environmental politics. Her research examines how coordination problems\, accountability failure\, and inequality in environmental risks and benefits shape political response to environmental change. Her current projects focus on the governance and finance of urban water services\, public opinion about climate change\, and the local politics of climate adaptation. She also has published on federalism\, election rules and voter turnout\, and local and state institutional design. Read more.
