SUMMARY:Luskin Center Sponsored Networking Event with Young Professionals in Energy - Los Angeles Chapter
DESCRIPTION:Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served at this networking event\, which will be highlighted by a talk from Luskin Center Director J.R. DeShazo. Dr. DeShazo’s recent solar policy report\, “Designing an Effective Feed-in Tariff for Greater Los Angeles\,” received notable media coverage from the Los Angeles Times\, KCRW and other major outlets.\nUCLA students will have the opportunity to network with members of Young Professionals in Energy (YPE)\, which includes executives in the renewable energy and sustainbaility fields\, and professionals from Southern California Edison\, LADWP\, Honda. Students will also learn about opportunities to work with the  Luskin Center\, which funds graduate student research on issues of environmental sustainability. \nRSVP is required.
