Her research focuses on understanding the impacts of climate change on people and the planet. Recognized among the TIME100 most influential people and a United Nations Champion of the Earth\, Hayhoe is known worldwide for connecting climate to people’s values in ways that inspire action. Her TED lecture\, The Most Important Thing You Can Do About Climate Change: Talk About It\, has received over 4 million views\, and she is the author of Saving Us: A Climate Scientist’s Case for Hope and Healing in a Divided World. Read more. \n \n\nMegan Mullin is the faculty director of the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation\, which partners with civic leaders on research to inform effective and equitable environmental policy. She is Professor of Public Policy and Political Science and holds the Luskin Endowed Chair in Innovation and Sustainability in the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs. Mullin’s research on U.S. environmental politics has appeared in leading scholarly journals and has been featured in many national and international media outlets. She is the author of the award-winning book\, Governing the Tap: Special District Governance and the New Local Politics of Water (MIT Press\, 2009)\, and has been named an Andrew Carnegie Fellow for her work on local climate adaptation.
