While global warming presents an unprecedented threat, researchers are making progress to estimate the impacts of climate change and offer potential solutions. This two-day, virtual event will highlight recent social science research on the impacts of climate change, particularly on vulnerable populations and communities.
Hosted by the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation, the event aims to translate cutting-edge findings for policymakers to inform adaptation strategies. Further, the symposium will identify emerging research needs, foster dialogue across disciplines and sectors, and offer a path forward to developing resilient communities.
