Dr. Khalid Osman Lecture: Operationalization of Equity in the Drinking Water Sector

Join us at the Luskin School of Public Affairs for an engaging talk on “System Consolidations and the Operationalization of Equity in the Drinking Water Sector” presented by Dr. Khalid Osman, an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Osman, who completed his Ph.D. at the University of Texas in 2022, will discuss his recent work on water system consolidation, broader equity metrics analysis in the U.S., and the operationalization of equity in water sector infrastructure. This talk is a must-attend for those interested in decentralized water and sanitation systems, water affordability, and the role of stakeholder-community engagement in building sustainable civil infrastructure for environmental justice.
