Kyra Gmoser-Daskalakis is a Ph.D. student in the Graduate Group in Ecology at UC Davis. Her research focuses on environmental policy and governance, particularly related to green infrastructure and climate change adaptation. Prior to starting at UC Davis, she was a researcher and associate project manager in the Luskin Center’s urban greening and sustainable water initiatives, working on projects such as “SMART Parks: A Toolkit” and “Community Water Systems in Los Angeles County: A Performance Policy Guide.” She continues to collaborate with the Luskin Center on research related to urban water governance, drinking water affordability, and stormwater management. She holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and a B.S. in environmental economics and policy from UC Berkeley.
