
Camille Burrus
Camille Burrus (she/her) is a staff researcher at the UCLA Luskin Center for Innovation, where she supports qualitative data collection and analysis for the evaluation of California’s Transformative Climate Communities (TCC) Program. Her work helps assess the program’s impact on advancing health, environmental, and economic benefits in historically disadvantaged communities.
Camille’s background spans public health research, community engagement, and health communications. Prior to joining LCI, she worked at ViiV Healthcare, where she analyzed qualitative and quantitative data to inform best practices for patient and provider engagement. She also contributed to research and advocacy efforts at Rising Communities, focusing on addressing health disparities and improving environmental health outcomes in the South Los Angeles region.
Camille holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences from UCLA and a bachelor’s degree in Integrative Biology from Hampton University. She brings her passion for health equity, community-driven research, and environmental justice to her work at LCI.
