STORIES FROM THE COMMUNITY

AS A COMMUNITY-LED INITIATIVE, South LA Eco-Lab engages residents, local business owners, and workers in projects to advance community-defined goals for climate action, economic development, and more. This section provides a series of case studies of how stakeholders have contributed to the rollout of South LA Eco-Lab and/or benefited from the initiative’s suite of projects and plans. It is important to note that these stakeholders represent only a small sample of the many individuals who have shaped — or been shaped by — South LA Eco-Lab. Thus, their purpose is to be illustrative, but not exhaustive, of how South LA Eco-Lab has touched the lives of community members.
