The climate crisis is here, already with a multitude of interconnected impacts on our lives. Fortunately, solutions to reduce climate pollution are also interconnected — such as renewable energy and zero-emission transportation — and able to provide holistic social, economic, and local environmental benefits for a more sustainable and equitable future. These strategies can uplift communities as they adapt and become more resilient in a warming world. Evidence-based public policies are critical to expanding such climate solutions. Data-driven research from the Luskin Center for Innovation (LCI) supports the design and implementation of effective climate policies, with a focus on California, known globally for its climate action leadership.
