Kelly Trumbull is a project manager at the Luskin Center for Innovation. Her research supports the Center’s energy and climate initiatives and focuses on community choice aggregation, demand response, local solar programs, and other policies that support renewable energy and its integration. She works on evaluating the California Strategic Growth Council’s Transformative Climate Communities program, which provides grants to implement a variety of local programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Prior to joining as a staff member, Kelly was a graduate student researcher for the center. Previously, she conducted research for the Scottish Parliament. Kelly graduated with a Master of Public Policy from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs and received a Global Environment and Resources Certificate from UCLA’s Global Public Affairs Program. She holds a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in comparative politics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
